Need muscle cars for horror movie!

Hey guys, I'm a local filmmaker and am looking for some select classic muscle cars for my first feature film. Hey, what better way to make a debut film but to come out swingin'! It's a horror film with some really cool car chase/scenes included. Ok, here are the main cars I need. Black 1957 Chevy,1968 Chevelle SS,1968 Charger,1967/68 Firebird,2011 Mustang 5.0. Those are the main cars. Also accepting other cars and will try to cram as much muscle in this film as I can. Any car club presidents with access to these cars, please call or text me at 256-476-8713. Thank you for your support!

Welcome to HCS. So let me get this list of cars correct:
  • Black 1957 Chevy - 2 door or 4? How close to original?
  • 1968 Chevelle SS - any color preference? How close to original?
  • 1968 Charger - any color preference? How close to original?
This one's going to be a tough one as there's very few of these in the area
  • 1967/68 Firebird - any color preference? How close to original?
  • 2011 Mustang 5.0 - any color preference? How close to original?
There's two clubs that can help with this--the Limestone County Mustang Club and the Rocket City Mustang Club
My name is Samir and I'll help however I can. I've seen every single one of these cars in the area except maybe the 68 Charger, so it's just a matter of getting in touch with the owners.

What type of compensation do you have for the owners? What will the cars be used for? Set decoration? Driven by the actors? What are the shoot dates/times? These are just some of the questions you'll be getting hit with. Feel free to reach me anytime at 615-512-5520.

Thanks Samir! Ok,here's you some answers to your questions.
1957 Chevy-black,2 door,original or custom
1968 Chevelle SS-red,clone or original
1968 Charger-black,original or custom (looking for mopars, any kind)
2011 Mustang 5.0-custom or original (something that stands out)
1968/67 Firebird-custom or original
1)Don't have dates yet for production, trying to get a feel for whats out there and who's available ahead of time. Hope to shoot by summer though.
2)Actors will have to drive some for interior shots but owners can drive chase/race scenes if their comfortable doing it and must sign waiver for liability issues.
3)These cars will be driven for race/chase scenes so trailer queens need not apply. Owners and cars will be treated with upmost respect and be compensated for the days needed.
4)Email all pictures of cars to jparker277@att.net More info to come as I get it. Thank you Samir! Hope this helps!

The Chevy should be pretty easy to find. I know a black 55 off the top of my head (boots55 on here). I'm not sure about the year, but I know there's several great looking Chevelles around town. Just look through some of pictures from past events and pick the ones you like and I'll see if I know who owns them. It's actually as simple as posting the picture here and asking who owns it. For Mopars, the Tennessee Valley Mopars would be a good group to contact. I do know a red 1974 Roadrunner that might be available if it isn't sold yet. I know several Mustangs that will LOVE to be a part of this, but I'm not sure if they're 2011s. If Woody Anderson hasn't sold their Facebook edition Mustang, they might be worth talking to as a movie credit would possibly help the sale, and I'm assuming that you won't need these cars driving more than 50 miles total, so it wouldn't rack up a ton of miles. I know I've seen some Firebirds in the area from that era, but they're rare compared to the Camaro of that era.

Summer has become a dead spot in enthusiast activities since it gets so hot, so that would be a good time for enthusiasts to get out.

Will the actors be local? Do you have a female lead yet? I have a friend that may fit what you're looking for, depending on what you need.

You'd be surprised how trailer queen owners are ready to drive when it's a cool project like this. I wouldn't exclude them. If they're not comfortable with something, they'll let you know.

No problem! Just invite me to the set. I love being on the set of a production, especially with cool cars around me. I can't wait for Fast Six to get into production. Hopefully I'll be able to be on set this time.

I have a modified 67 mustang if needed as well. And Samir WAF sold that mustang a few months back, I've driven down the road with it a few times. I love seeing it.

These are the only somewhat current pictures I have. Its supposed to get hash marks on the drivers side, and it has different headlights.

Neither of which I've posted yet.

I somehow remember you being at a Mustang club driveout from Shoney's?

Yeah, last time I went was October 2010. I know there are some pictures from that, but that was before I got new fenders and hood.

Oh yeah, that's much older.

Oh well, more reason for me to keep working away on all the 2011 event coverage!

But they're not necessarily in this area since the club is based south of us.
