For Sale: 1995 Alipine White BMW M3 project car

For sale is my 1995 BMW M3. It was a project I was working on but do not have the time to work on it with my other projects and my move coming up quickly. The car runs but needs some work for it to be road worthy. The coilpack on cylinder 5 needs to be replaced, and the car needs a tune-up. With some TLC it will drive no problem

The car has been sitting for a year and a half to 2 years. The interior is mostly torn out of it, but I do have most of it (the carpet was thrashed so I've ripped most of it out). The driver window does not roll all the way up.

The car has a brand new water pump, thermostat, upper and lower radiator hoses, and aluminum thermostat housing, it also has Bavarian Autohaus lowering springs.

The chassis has 150-some odd thousand miles on it. The body is straight and just has chip marks in it from normal wear and tear. The car is a 5 speed manual with the 3.0L S50 motor and is OBD1.

It would not take much to make this drivable on the road again. I hate to see it go, but it needs to be gone. I'm asking $2000 O.B.O. i have a clean title in hand. I LOVE this car, and hate to see it go, and it will be a great car for anyone willing to put a little time and money into it.

I have too many projects as is. Plus I'm not going to be here too much longer so that's not really an option.

Man I would love to get this off you. That is hands down my favourite bodystyle for the m3....

Sadly all my car money is tied up in the dsm. How much of the interior is missing? The only problem I would have no way to tow it even if I freed up some cash.

None of the interior is missing. I have all of it, it is just out of the car. The only thing that HAS to be replaced is the carpet.

As I said, the car runs, but I wouldn't try to drive it anywhere till it gets a tune up.

So saying I put a coil pack on and new airfilter/plugs would it make it to my house on the other side of arab?

I could do a full fluid change at home, and a fuel filter etc etc.

Honestly, idk. I'm not going to say will 100% certainty that it would make it if you just change teh coilpack. Do I think it will, yes. Do i know for certain, no. I might go get a new coilpack and try it out, but I really don't want to put anymore money into it when I'm trying to sell it AS IS.

You are more than welcome to try though. A trailer from U-haul is well under $100 for a single day rental, if I remember correctly.

If you can get/rent a trailer I can get a truck to tow it out to your place.

If anyone knows Chris personally, I tryed calling the number he emailed but, the lady that answered had no clue what I was talking about.

I have arranged for a truck, and I am trying to get a trailer. Just need to setup a meet time with Chris. Tell him to give me a call at the house any day of the week after 5pm

Okay thanks man, I didn't know if he had moved yet or not. Friend of mine is buying my DSM friday, I hate to see it go, but at the same time I think I need a change of pace, my DSM has gotten boring to me.

I hope everything is okay with his family. But he sent me a new number, still an AZ area code which I found odd. But hopefully everything works out for both of us.
