This has always been a great event. I wonder if the North Alabama Volkswagon Club would be interested? They have a cruise-in at the exact same time at Dairy Queen right down the road.

3rd Saturday night cruise-in at Decatur Steak 'n Shake

I am thinking of getting the "events" insurance in order to go back to the big parking lot between Steak 'n Shake and Pier One. In this regard, I would need to have a 50/50 in order to help pay for this expense. I hope you all would like to be back in the large parking lot and would be willing to help out by participating in the 50/50.

If so, we can try this for June and see how all goes. I would love to fill this lot again. So please pass this information on to all and let me know your thoughts within the next week so that I can get this all worked out (cms.luttrell@juno.com).

We do have the permission of Pier One to use this lot, and, in fact, they will run specials for us on the nights we will be there, as long as we let them know ahead of time. Which I would. Thank you, Marsha

I think the 50/50 is a great idea. Run it for a few months and then buy a policy for the whole year--problem solved.
