From the flyer and an email:

Registration is $20 1st ride, $15 each additional ride and ends at noon. Pre-registration before July 6th includes 2 free lunch tickets as well as an additional raffle ticket. Before July 6th, clubs with 12 or more that pre-register together and arrive together as a club can register for $15.00 per vehicle. Registration is open to cars, trucks, and tractors (I am sure motorcycles as well). Prizes include cash and a 350 engine. Awards include Client's Choice, Preacher's Choice, and Mayor's Choice.

There will be kids activities, food, and a 50/50 drawing as well. Parts vendors are welcome. I have been told there is an a/c lunch room, trees & shade.

Proceeds benefit the camp, which has facilities designed for kids with special needs.

This is a rain or shine event.

Was told that the pre-registration is 2 weeks prior to the event; July 6th cutoff date. If you pre-register, you will get 2 free lunch tickets plus a special drawing. The free lunches will help make the $20 registration fee more affordable. Also note that since this is a July event there is an a/c lunch room, trees & shade. Samir will be adding the flyer soon. Thank you.

Thank you. There is a page 2, back of the flyer, for the pre-registration, with instructions. If someone knows they will be attending 2 weeks prior, can pre-register, pay, and receive 2 free lunches plus a special drawing. Keep that in mind. Helps on the $20 fee. Marsha

Thank you. I have gone by the camp this evening. It is about 20 minutes from Decatur, and 20 minutes from Huntsville (Airport/Memorial intersection). There is plenty of room for all the rides that attend. Some of the activities for all that will be available are: a small lake with canoeing and a peddle boat; fishing; archery; petting zoo; inflatable moon bounce and slides. Swap meet vendors for used parts. Food & drinks available. Music. Remember that the eating hall has a/c!

Add this information that was just accepted and approved:
Clubs - if you have 12 or more rides that preregister together (at the same time) and arrive together as a club, then the fee is $15.00 per vehicle. But you need to preregister and send funds as a club by July 6th.

Thank you. You are the best! It would be nice to have in the title or subject line the words "Pine Ridge Day Camp . . ." so that this car show is identified. I thought that I had done that originally.

You're welcome. I try to keep the titles concise and to the point since there are so many on a given Saturday. Besides, the search engine spiders will pick up the location, name, url, and more.

Just confirmed that this event is still on and that thousands of flyers have been passed out. If you know for sure that you will be attending, make a note of the pre-registration date and save some money. As well as get 2 lunch tickets. Marsha

We did not make it! Chip went with the on-line weather, which stated it was 90% chance of rain by 1pm. It lied! Was told there was no rain at this location. And there were about 90 in attendance, lots of activities and good food. Crap that we missed it. But we did get 3 oil changes in our 3 special rides. Marsha
