Decatur 3rd Friday Cruise In

The city has decided to add a cruise in to their 3rd Friday event in down town Decatur. They hope to pattern it after the Gadsden Cruise In. For the time being it will be held on Bank Street just down from the old bank building. When all road work is done on 2nd Ave close to Princess Theater, it may move up there. It will start about 4:30 -5:00 p.m.-ish and go to about 9:00 p.m. Bring the wives as there are antique shops, Civil War museum, Tenn Valley Pecan Co, and more. Restaurants are A Little Slim, Simp Mcgee's, Tim Buck 2 deli shop. They are working on getting more food vendors in for the cruise. If you know of food vendors have them contact me.

The old state bank parking area should be open for photo ops if you so desire. We hope to be able to park in the very middle of the street like Gadsden, but must leave a fire lane. Work with us as this was done on very short notice. Ya'll come. Hope I covered it all.

david walker was a really big help with this. he made up the flyer, and passed them. this is the city's gig.i just asked them if they had thought about it. i'm just a volunteer who likes old cars.hope to have more food vendors next month,and porta johns. thanks to all who came out.tell your friends,see ya'll next month.

I hated I missed this one Bruce, just been too busy moving crap. I will try to get put on the Ardmore Flyer before it goes to print. When is the last month of it?

From what I heard, great job by everyone involved!!!!

I'll be there and I might try to make Good Guys. But I'm not the privilege of showing the Bridgeport @ Good Guys is worth the price. Sheesh.

We will be at F-100s in Pigeon Forge on Friday and Goodguys on Saturday. Will see you all the 3rd Friday of June. Hope you have a great turn out this Friday, and sorry we will miss.

Hopefully the economy has hurt people enough that they will skip Good Guys and hang out in Decatur. Because we all know--it's greater in Decatur!!

yeah can't go to either but it really stinks the they have these 2 event same time,so close together. i got a f-1 also. but take pics!

If I hadn't already planned to go see The Dictator with a few friends I'd come but I've been waiting for a while for this movie to come out. It looks hilarious.
