You da man Samir.

I'm looking at making some changes and dropping the price a tad after this weekend.

Hey guys - the car has been returned to OEM form and the asking price is now $21,990. I haven't been back on here in a while since I posted this - the price has been dropped a couple times.

If anyone is interested, I'll bring her out to the Nissan meet tomorrow night.

The Altima is GONE. I will post news of its replacement later on. Thanks for the help, Samir.

Here she is - 2012 Mazdaspeed 3. I can't believe I bought a car that doesn't have a Nissan badge on it, but honestly, they don't offer anything that fits my criteria for a daily:

Power, space, decent gas mileage, manual transmission.

I have been gentle for break-in and if I stay out of boost I get about 35mpgs when I really try on my morning commute. Solid. But boost is fun too. We'll see how long 35mpg lasts.

Dang, those speed3's are rated at 18/25 with an average of 21....how are you getting 35mpg?!?!?

I almost had one of these, but things didn't quite work out. Fun cars for sure. Congrats!

Lots of practice with a manual, aka I shift into neutral and coast a lot. I keep an eye on that instant fuel economy gauge and try to keep that number up as high as I can as much as I can.

We'll see how long I hold out though. lol staying out of boost is the key for sure.

Congrats on the car! It definitely is a fun car--zoom zoom! Check out the one that hits the local autocrosses if you want to see what a beast it can be.

And I know how you could stay out of boost--adjust the wastegate to lower the pressure. But that wouldn't be any fun.
