The next Dyno Day?

Has anyone thought of holding a winter dyno day? Had fun at the last one and wouldn't mind shooting another one for the site now that I know how they are run, know my gear better, and all that.

Anyone have time to possibly set it up?

I need to dyno the BMW again. Much has been done to the engine since my last pulls. Lets do it.

I wouldn't mind it. We had a heck of a time last time. I never got the Charger on the dyno.

After the 1st is going to work best for everyone I think, though I have no idea how to set one up or who to contact. If it got setup I would definitely help in some form though.

kornbred set it up last time. I'll talk to him and see if he wants to try to set it up or who I need to talk to.

Send a message via AIM to Beckham
Talk to Arthur at TrackMasters and see when he's available to do one.

I would be down for this idea. I need to see if there is more power at the cooler temps than what the dyno said in the summer being over a 105 in the bay.

I'd also like to do this sooner rather than later. My non intercooled whip does not like hot weather.

I would like to check on some small mods I have done since the last one. I also think the cool air would be good for all motors. I enjoyed the last one and meeting new folks with nice toys. I hope Arthur will hold the same prices as last. Count me as one IN.

Depending on the day I'd be in. I'd like to get some base line numbers but not willing to pay $100+ to do it on my own.

I've never talked with the guys at trackmaster about this, as I have no clue what goes into pulling it all together. My car will (graciously) bow out on reporting numbers in the low 100 range lol...I just want to shoot it again/watch what all of you put up.

If you guys set a date I'll make a post on hsvracing as well. I think it'd be ideal to do this a little later in the winter when most people don't have there cars down doing upgrades or preventative maintenance.

Sorry I'm late to the party. So here's the deal--call Trackmasters and talk to Arthur. Tell him you're calling on behalf of Samir and want to set up a Huntsville Car Scene dyno day like last time. The price last time was $40 for 3 pulls for 10 or more cars, add $10 if you want the wideband:
http://www.huntsvillecarscene.com/ca...y=2012-6-9&c=1

Then add an event to the calendar with the details (just copy the format and details of the previous listing) and tell everyone to rsvp.

I primarily shoot videos of the runs on a dyno day ending with a shot of the screen. You have to be careful around the car during a live dyno run and earplugs are recommended (which I forgot last time ). I'll create a gallery for us to post pics/videos to that will automatically show up in the listing.

And that's it! Hope everyone has fun. I hate that I'll miss it. You guys have no idea how much I'm itching to be back with fellow enthusiasts. I heard a turbo Honda City (civic) blow through an intersection here and wanted to chase the car down just to talk to another fellow enthusiast.

Okay, so let's bump this idea back up. Who wants a dyno day? Now that I'm back in the country, I can easily set one up.
