New Guy

Hey guys. Long time lurker, first time poster.

Moved to Huntsville to go to UAH and picked up my toy after graduating a little over a year ago.

While it was bone stock at the time, I've adding a bit of "personalization" to make it my own. It is currently my DD so I can't get too carried away.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, just thought I'd introduce myself and my 2008 GT/CS that I like to call "Crimson".

Mod List:
JLT Series III CAI
Tuning by Bama Performance
Borla Stingers
Offroad (no cat-converters) H-Pipe
Eibach Pro Springs
GT500 spoiler
Several small appearance mods

Very nice! I think I've seen your car around a time or two. The Borla's are definitely noticeable if you're looking for them.

Sweet stang man, very clean, Can't go wrong with Borlas, Am curious to hear it person since you running h pipe, I bet its sounds mean as hell, Am running a Bassani off road X, I was running a Magnaflow catted X but it was to quiet for my taste.

Sharp ride.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone.

@Mactography: I've lived here for quite some time now. What do you drive? I'm sure I have seen it around.

@07Silvergtss: The Borlas and o/r H are surely unique. The S-Type exhaust was the only system I could find that didn't trumpet with the o/r pipe. It si true that you quickly find out the quality of your mufflers once the cats are out of the equation. Ask me how I know :/ Your ride looks incredible, btw.

@slowjoe: Thanks. I've visited the RCMC a few times but never became a regular. I'm used to a slightly different car club atmosphere since I'm friends with the purple/green Viper GTS that lives here in town and have attended several AL/TN Viper Club events. Just a different feeling, I guess... EDIT: Now that I saw your car in another thread, I realize that we have met before! You remember talking to me at the Publix on Madison Blvd. back in the fall? I was talking to you about springs since you and I have the same front bumper. Since then, I've added Eibachs and a GT500 wing.

I may be bringing a 2nd member to HCS. My lady friend is working on a deal for a '09 Silver GT/CS. She is already excited over the idea of attending car shows together in a pair of California Specials.

When I lived there I was in a Pearl White 2005 Infiniti G35x, now I'm in a Gray 2013 FIAT Abarth. I'm easy to spot with the HCS stickers, 'Actual Size' sticker on the back and NOTMINI plate, haha.
