Fast and Furious 7

So I just got a call from my buddy who's working on some cars for the movie. There will be scenes shot in Atlanta just like there were for Fast 5. And, there will be opportunities for us to be a part of the movie as local cars were cast last time. I should know in the next few days what type of cars are needed and will post them in this thread. I should be able to be on the set, so we'll have some exclusive back-stage and never seen pics and videos from the set.

The bigger thing that this means is get ready for the biggest, most unreal movie premiere event EVER. We've got a lot of lead time and great connections to bring this installment in the series closer to home then ever before.

I'm pumped more than ever, and what a great way for me to get back to the scene.

The cars being prepped so far are a lot of what we would call new-school 'classic' muscle--fox bodies, et al. But you never know what actually turns up in the movie due to the editing.

There was a lot of stuff on the set of Fast 5 that missed the big screen cut, including a small cast of local actors. And my friend Mona stole the screen in the scene, lol.

It was serious work last time as everyone was there from around dark to 3-5am every day for two months straight. Eventually, you do get tired of living the scene over and over again, but hey, that's film making.

I'm always here. I just can't get involved as much as I'd like to at the moment. Hopefully everything will settle down by December.

My original plan was to come back for the tail end of the season this month, but it got completely blown out of the water a few days back. But it's for the good in the long run, so I'm all for it.

That we will. He mentioned a lot of different Mustangs that he was working on, so if that's one of the marques that's prominent, you're going to have a lot of fun spreading the word for this one!

Interesting. That's one thing I've like about the more recent movies is they have a more diverse group of cars then the original ones.

And I think that trend is going to continue as the audience has also grown and evolved. It will be exciting to see everything once we get to ATL.

I spoke with my friend Mona who was in Fast 5, and she mentioned that the extras castings for Fast 7 are already out there so we'll have to get on those quickly.

Link? We've got connections, so we should be able to bypass any 'auditions' as long as the car is worthy.

Well, I know they don't need '51 trucks, so I will just eagerly look forward to seeing how it all ends up.

This seems like it would be really fun.
I don't have my G any more.
but maybe they want a little german in the movie. My BMW 335i would be interested.

Not yet, it's a changing list until some things become final.

There was actually a VW R32 that was on the set last time.

You might be surprised. I know they're changing the car list each movie and mixing it up.

Depends on how unique it is. I know that's one of the things they look for.
