gorkoracing at Huntsville Hospital after Serious Accident Tonight

I just found out from my wife that our very own gorkoracing has been involved in a serious car accident.

He wasn't driving his Lotus as he's having some work done on it, and was driving this white car which looks to be a GM product.

He's got a broken ankle, some broken bones, and a head injury that is being looked at closely by neurointensive care.

No visitors at this time.

I've known him for a very long time. He's one of the first people I ever met in the local car scene, and he saw the birth of www.huntsvillecarscene.com as well as hsvracing.com, while being active in both communities. A part of me wants to race down to the hospital to see him this very second as this news has me in shock.

He's been an integral part of the community here helping put together some great events like the Wednesday Meet in Providence as well as the all-exotic cruise that was on the date of my engagement. He was also at my engagement, and was one of the first people to meet my wife before we were married.

As I write this I see Anthony smiling in my head the way he does along with that distinctive laugh he has. I'm wishing my buddy well and a quick and healthy recovery so we can enjoy the good times again soon.

I just saw that his sister has posted this on FB, so I thought I'd come out from lurking in the dark to mention that I'd love to help out in any way. Anthony is an awesome cat for sure. Hoping he makes a speedy and healthy recovery.
