Tint shops that do it how I want

Can anyone recommend some local tint shops that will tint however you want? I have some 15% on my back window that needs replacing and some shops would pitch a hissy fit if you tried to get them to do anything under 32% on a car.

One day did mine, but they accept no responsibility under 32%

Speaking of which...I just got a ticket Saturday for my tint. Cheaper to pay the ticket than get it removed and replaced. Oh well...

The one I got was a fix-it ticket like you'd get for a broken light.

Yeah thats kinda like what I have, but if I fix it, it will cost me more than it would to just pay the ticket.

Sound on Wheels - Gary Don't know if stocks the really dark, but he's about the best there is around.

I've also had GREAT service with Neon Sound. On University, west bound across from Sammy's Sports Bar. I'm pretty sure they will do whatever you want.

Night? This was morning! I was going to meet my grandmother for breakfast before we went to the drake show. I guess this one was making a quota or something. I talked to one of my friends thats works for the county and he said they can't give you a ticket unless they have the meter and can show on the meter that the tint is illegal. Lucky for me this Trooper had one. Like I said...cheaper to pay the ticket.

The trick is to only have the dark tint on the glass that doesn't roll down. I've had 15% on my back glass for years and cops never say a word. They can only test what they can slide the meter down onto. Sometimes with 4 door trucks and SUV's you can get away with tinting the back windows limo because 2nd gen Blazers come from the factory like that. Or just find a way to get a TN tag on your car like my college roommate did when he had limo all the way around.

I'd recommend Shades in Decatur. They just did my vette and were able to do the hatch glass in 1 piece. alot of shops can't and won't. it's 20% all around.
